It’s time, time for a blog hop and several GIVEAWAYS! Waffle Flower just released some wonderful stamps and dies, and to celebrate they are gifting $25 gift certificates on each blog hop. There are 16 chances to win and the list of participants are linked below. All you need to do is leave a comment by 11:59pm EST on Thursday, June 8, 2023 for your chances to win. Winners will be chosen at random from the comments and will be announced on the Waffle Flower Blog on Friday, June 9.
Here’s how I made this pocket card using the stamps and dies from the June collection.
Step One
After placing the large rose stamp from the Sketched Rose Stamp Set onto the stamp board (similar), I inked it with Ranger Archival Ink and transfered the image onto white cardstock.
Step Two
Next, I grabbed the Sketched Rose Layering Stencils and added light, medium, and dark Distsress Oxide Inks using foam daubers.
Step Three
Then, I placed the Sketched Rose Matching Die onto the cardstock and ran that through the die cut machine. Afterward, I ran the Tiny Diamonds Panel Die on a white piece of cardstock.
Step Four
Rather than making a traditional card that opens vertically or horizontally, I opted to make a pocket using a Pocket Punch Board.
Step Five
Last, I placed the diamond panel cut to the front of the pocket, added the stamped sketched rose, as well as the sentiment. For additional texture and design, I added an eyelet and tassel to the pocket insert.
